It’s a big surprise that Dune: Part Two didn’t pick up this prize. That said, the film has been underperforming most of the year, so perhaps this shouldn’t be a surprise. That said, BAFTA went Dune: Part Two, so there’s still hope for it at the Oscars. If A Complete Unknown picks up the MPSE award, that might change the calculation.
