For our November update, we’re looking at everything that has moved on to a new stage. After months of virtually no updates, we’ve also removed five films from the 2025 contenders competition: The Collaboration, Mother Mary, At the Sea, Klara and the Sun, Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 2 and Madden. We know at least one of these are completed but the rest seem to be in limbo. With so little information available, it seems clear none of them will find release in 2025. Now, let’s look at the contenders that are still going and have made some shifts in positioning.
Moving to Stage 2
Once all of the preliminary data has been received, a film moves to Stage 2. Here are the two that have done so this month.
