For our February update, we’re getting closer to the point where all box office numbers are finalized. Certainly, most of them are in the range of not making further impact on contenders’ chances. We’re still missing a few numbers on the audience side but for the most part, we’re about to the point where this list is complete and we can better compare it to the actual results.

Moving to Stage 2

Once all of the preliminary data has been received, a film moves to Stage 2. Here is the one that has done so this month. It’s the last title to release (at least to the box office), so after this we’ll have none further.

Moving to Stage 3

There are no films that have moved on to Stage 3. This stage will have one more title to add to it before things finalize.

Moving to Stage 4

If a film has surpassed a month in release, it is eligible for a move to Stage 4. We have eight new films here bringing our total to 17 currently in stage 4.
