Pete Patrick: Probably Frankenstein, but Hamnet’s recreation of 16th Century England would be a nice surprise.
Thomas La Tourrette: Four of the five Oscar nominees are in this category, but I expect that Frankenstein will easily take this award. It seems likely to dominate this category and should take this too.

Wesley Lovell: Avatar and Wicked: For Good are going to battle this one out to the end and while some of Wicked is familiar, there’s enough new stuff to follow the Costume Designers Guild’s lead.
Pete Patrick: Could be anything, but let’s got with something different here.
Thomas La Tourrette: It may have been shut out from the Oscars, but I expect Wicked: For Good to win for the large and colorful sets it has. None of the other films are Oscar nominated either, and probably most of their sets were done with CGI which will not help them win.
