We make a lot of jokes about San Francisco and its queer history being an influence in any organization that announces from the city, yet this list feels almost like an attempt to thwart that notion up front. Perhaps in a year with less critically acclaimed queer efforts, but both Barbie and All of Us Strangers were given really poor tallies. Pity.
