Wesley Lovell: The MUAHS didn’t give us much help as they went all-in on Maestro in spite of BAFTA going for Poor Things. The latter still seems more likely for Oscar voters, though the former could still pull off a win as could Society of the Snow since it didn’t compete at BAFTA and has a lot of very obvious makeup in it. Of course, Oppenheimer could win for its subtle aging effects. Golda seems to be the only one that doesn’t have much of a chance.
Pete Patrick: Poor Things, with its many and varied creations, would be my guess for the win with Society of the Snow‘s realistic look of devastation the spoiler.
Thomas La Tourrette: oming off its double win at the guild awards, Maestro looks to be the one to beat for the Oscar. Its closest competitor is Poor Things which came away empty handed from the guild. There is still a possibility that Poor Things could win, but it is pretty doubtful. Look for Maestro to take home the Oscar.
