Wesley Lovell: The American Cinema Editors the two Best Picture frontrunners each won their categories pitting One Battle After Another against Sinners and that match up clearly favors One Battle, which also won at BAFTA.
Pete Patrick: Both frontrunners for Best Picture have excellent editing but I give the edge to One Battle After Another.
Thomas La Tourrette: I am going out on a limb here and choosing Sinners over One Battle. Both won editing awards from the guild and it seems that OBAA has won the lion’s share of awards so far, but I found parts of the movie slow. Sinners felt like it had better editing and I will stick with it to win. F1 and Marty Supreme also were excitingly edited, so it could go almost any direction. Sentimental Value feels like the only nominee with no chance of winning. I am choosing Sinners but will not be surprised if One Battle wins.
